It's been 17 years since my last skiing adventure (as a student, to Andorra). This week, 4 of us got out to Manchester's "Chill Factor." Brilliant!
It was bizarre seeing these huge vistas of snowy mountains pasted on the side of what is basically a very large fridge! But after 30 minutes finding my snow legs - I was away. Liberty! Freedom from all distracting thoughts! Total chill out!
[PS. They do lessons for kids etc... but it's probably quite pricey for families. PPS. The photo is from the website - it's not me!]
When can we go again? They're offering a Valentine's Day experience... hmmmm.

Skiing in a fridge - fantastic!
